Privacy policy

Who is responsible

This website, olha.biz, is the personal site of Olha Onyshchenko, an independent consultant based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. I am responsible for the information you send through it.

What I collect

When you send the inquiry form, I receive your name, your email address, your business or website if you add it, and your message. The form also records the page it was sent from, the time, the size of your browser window and how you moved through the form (which fields you filled in and when, not what you typed before sending).

I do not use analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels or cookies on this site. Nothing is stored in your browser except what it needs to show the page.

Why I use it

Only to read your inquiry and reply to you by email. I do not sell it, rent it or use it for advertising, and I do not add you to a mailing list.

Services that handle the data

Vercel Inc. hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details in its server logs to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

Waverform (waverform.com), the form service operated by CodeLaw (16111033 Canada Inc.), receives the inquiry form and stores it in Notion (Notion Labs, Inc.), where I read it. Notion and Vercel may store data outside Canada, including in the United States.

How long I keep it

I keep an inquiry while we are in touch, and delete it within two years of my last reply, unless the law requires me to keep it longer.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Send a message through the form on this site or contact me on LinkedIn. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

When this policy changes, the version and date at the top change with it.
